Injured and Nothing to Do

Injured and Nothing to Do

Last month was a painful time for me, because I had to visit one of the San Francisco chiropractors due to an injury that I didn’t see coming. I was simply walking around my neighborhood, as I usually do, when I stepped on a pebble and fell backwards. No one else was around to see me fall, so I wasn’t really embarrassed or anything, but I was in a great deal of pain. I was able to walk back home, despite being in pain, but once I got there, I called a chiropractor and hopped in the car so that I could get some treatment.

The chiropractor gave my back a look and told me that the fall didn’t really break anything. I just had a bit of damage and my back would need to heal over a week. He gave me a medicine prescription to deal with any pain that I might get over the course of my healing, and told me not to do anything that would cause my injury to become worse. I basically had to sit around the house while waiting for my body to do its job.

The time felt like it was passing really slowly while I was sitting at home. I sat in my bed and watched television, but that got boring, so I started reading some old books that I had put off reading for a long time. I breezed through the books, and then I was left with nothing else to do. I got up and looked around the house to find something that would pass the time. I found some old wooden puzzles that my friends had given to me for a birthday gift and tried to solve them. I was able to put some of them together, but the other ones gave me trouble.
